Terms and Conditions – Focus Yacht Rental

  1. Booking and Reservation:

    • A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a specified deposit or full payment.
    • Booking details, including the charter period, number of guests, and special requests, must be provided accurately at the time of reservation.
  2. Payment Policy:

    • A deposit, as outlined in the booking agreement, is required to secure the reservation.
    • Full payment must be received prior to the start of the charter period.
  3. Cancellation and Refund:

    • Cancellations made [X] days or more before the charter date will be eligible for a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within [X] days of the charter date will result in a forfeit of the deposit.
    • Cancellations made within [Y] hours of the charter date or no-shows will result in the full charge of the charter fee.
  4. Weather Conditions:

    • The captain holds the authority to cancel or reschedule the charter in the event of adverse weather conditions, with the safety of passengers as the top priority.
    • In case of cancellation due to weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered, or a full refund will be provided.
  5. Damage and Responsibility:

    • The client is responsible for any damage caused to the yacht or its equipment during the charter period.
    • Any damages will be assessed, and the client will be billed accordingly.
  6. Behavior and Conduct:

    • The client and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner.
    • Illegal activities, including drug use, are strictly prohibited on board.
  7. Maximum Capacity:

    • The maximum number of guests allowed on board is as specified in the booking agreement.
    • Overloading the yacht beyond its capacity is strictly prohibited.
  8. Insurance:

    • The yacht is insured for third-party liability. Clients are advised to have their own travel insurance to cover personal belongings and potential trip cancellations.
  9. Changes to Itinerary:

    • The charter itinerary may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns. The captain will communicate any changes to the clients in a timely manner.
  10. Dispute Resolution:

    • In the event of any disputes or disagreements, both parties agree to resolve the matter through arbitration or mediation.

By confirming a reservation, the client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
